Male patient, 85 years of age, weighting 140.2 lb, was diagnosed with gastrooesophageal reflux disease and was treated with Prevacid. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, condition aggravated, diarrhoea, dyspnoea, mitral valve disease, post procedural complication. Prevacid dosage: (30 MG,AS REQUIRED), PER ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with SIMVASTATIN, ASPIRIN, TAMSULOSIN, FERROUS SULPHATE, FOLIC ACID, DOCUSATE, FUROSEMIDE, COUMADIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
