Precedex side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Jan 23, 2006. Male patient, 57 years of age, weighting 147.7 lb, was diagnosed with sedation, postoperative analgesia and was treated with Precedex. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure decreased, hepatic function abnormal. Precedex dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ROPIVACAINE, SEVOFLURANE, PROPOFOL, SUXAMETHONIUM, PANCURONIUM, VECURONIUM BROMIDE. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hepatic function abnormal, liver disorder, staphylococcal infection , transplant rejection. Precedex dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PROGRAF, DOPAMINE, SULTAMICILLIN TOSILATE, SULBACTAM, ISOFLURANE. Patient died on 04/16/2007.
