Female patient, 75 years of age, weighting 164.0 lb, was diagnosed with blood cholesterol increased, low density lipoprotein increased and was treated with Pravachol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agitation, cerebrovascular accident, confusional state, global amnesia, headache , muscular weakness, pupils unequal, repetitive speech.
