Prandin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Sept 20, 2004. Female patient was diagnosed with insulin-requiring type ii diabetes mellitus and was treated with Prandin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dry mouth, fatigue, hepatic enzyme abnormal, hunger, vision blurred. Prandin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with INSULIN. Patient recovered.

Prandin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Apr 05, 2007. Male patient, 66 years of age, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus non-insulin-dependent and was treated with Prandin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hyperglycaemia, polydipsia, polyuria, renal failure, treatment noncompliance, vision blurred. Prandin dosage: 2 MG PO TID. During the same period patient was treated with GLIPIZIDE, FUROSEMIDE, NADOLOL, SPIRONOLACTONE, LACTULOSE, ZINC SULPHATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
