Prandin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Mar 04, 2008. Female patient, 61 years of age, was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus, constipation  and was treated with Prandin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: constipation , transient ischaemic attack. Prandin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MIRALAX, LASIX, PRILOSEC, FIORICET, TOPROL, DIOVAN, SYNTHROID, ALDACTONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 71 years of age, weighting 229.3 lb, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus non-insulin-dependent, hypertension, blood cholesterol increased and was treated with Prandin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: transient ischaemic attack. Prandin dosage: 1 MG, TID. During the same period patient was treated with METFORMIN, SOTALOL, DIOVAN, LIPITOR, NORVASC. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
