Potassium side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Apr 02, 2008. Male patient, 74 years of age, weighting 198.2 lb, was diagnosed with hypokalaemia, anaemia of malignant disease and was treated with Potassium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arrhythmia , blood potassium decreased, blood pressure increased, blood pressure systolic increased, cardiac arrest , cardiac hypertrophy, decreased appetite, epistaxis, fluid overload. Potassium dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with POTASSIUM CHLORIDE, ARANESP, METHOTREXATE, MESNA, LASIX, PLATELETS, BLOOD CELLS. Patient died on 06/13/2006.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arrhythmia , bradycardia, convulsion, hyperhidrosis, hyperkalaemia, pulse absent, refusal of treatment by patient, renal impairment. Potassium dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Potassium dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with POTASSIUM CHLORIDE, ARANESP, METHOTREXATE, MESNA, FUROSEMIDE, PLATELETS, BLOOD CELLS, FLUOXETINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 06/13/2006.
