Posaconazole side effect was reported by a Physician from BELGIUM on Jan 08, 2007. Female patient, 30 years of age, weighting 110.2 lb, was diagnosed with fungal infection , pleuritic pain and was treated with Posaconazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood alkaline phosphatase increased, bronchitis , disease progression, hypercapnia, lung neoplasm, nausea , pleuritic pain, pneumonia , respiratory failure. Posaconazole dosage: SEE IMGAE. During the same period patient was treated with MORPHINE, AMBISOME, NEORAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood alkaline phosphatase increased, bronchitis , disease progression, hypercapnia, nausea , pleuritic pain, pneumonia , respiratory failure, stenotrophomonas infection. Posaconazole dosage: 200 MG QID PO ; 400 MG BID ; 200 MG QID ; 200 MG BID. During the same period patient was treated with MORPHINE, NEOROL, MEDROL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
