Posaconazole side effect was reported by a Physician from BELGIUM on Jan 08, 2007. Female patient, 30 years of age, weighting 110.2 lb, was diagnosed with fungal infection , pleuritic pain and was treated with Posaconazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood alkaline phosphatase increased, bronchitis , disease progression, hypercapnia, lung neoplasm, nausea , pleuritic pain, pneumonia , respiratory failure. Posaconazole dosage: SEE IMGAE. During the same period patient was treated with MORPHINE, AMBISOME, NEORAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood culture positive, haemosiderosis, hepatic fibrosis, klebsiella infection, lung neoplasm, neutropenia, scedosporium infection, sepsis , stenotrophomonas infection. Posaconazole dosage: 200 MG;TID;PO. During the same period patient was treated with CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE, VINCRISTINE, DOXORUBICIN, DEXAMETHASONE, METHOTREXATE, CYTARABINE. Patient died.
