Posaconazole side effect was reported by a Physician from GERMANY on Jan 26, 2009. Male patient, child 4 years of age, weighting 44.09 lb, was diagnosed with prophylaxis, acute lymphocytic leukaemia and was treated with Posaconazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, gamma-glutamyltransferase increased, lymphoedema, puncture site infection, transaminases increased. Posaconazole dosage: 120 MG;BID;PO. During the same period patient was treated with METHOTREXATE, VINDESINE, IFOSFAMIDE, GRANISETRON, DEXAMETHASONE, FLUCONAZOLE, COTRIM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
