Posaconazole side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Aug 23, 2006. Female patient, 56 years of age, weighting 110.2 lb, was diagnosed with fungal infection  and was treated with Posaconazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anorexia, condition aggravated, dilatation atrial, disease progression, fungal infection , hyperkalaemia, hypoaesthesia, pain , sinus congestion. Posaconazole dosage: 400 MG; BID; PO. During the same period patient was treated with NORVASC, BICARBONATE, EPOGEN, DUPHALAC, PREVACID, SYNTHROID, ZOLOFT, PREDNISONE. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrial fibrillation , atrioventricular block first degree, blood pressure decreased, cardiac failure congestive, dilatation atrial, fluid overload, fungal infection , infected skin ulcer, mitral valve incompetence. Posaconazole dosage: 400 MG; BID; PO. During the same period patient was treated with REGLAN, SYNTHROID, MEGACE, LISINOPRIL, PROTONIX, PREDNISONE, PHOSLO, LANTUS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Posaconazole dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MORPHINE, AMBISOME, NEORAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
