Posaconazole side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Sept 26, 2006. Female patient, 66 years of age, weighting 173.0 lb, was diagnosed with fungal infection
and was treated with Posaconazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aspiration pleural cavity abnormal, blood albumin decreased, blood creatine increased, blood potassium decreased, cardiac failure congestive, condition aggravated, dyspnoea, electrocardiogram qt corrected interval prolonged, electrolyte imbalance. Posaconazole dosage: 400 MG;BID. During the same period patient was treated with CIPROFLOXACIN, ATENOLOL, AVANDIA, ASPIRIN, ALBUTEROL SULATE, FISH OIL, GLYBURIDE, SYNTHROID. Patient was hospitalized.
