Posaconazole side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from FRANCE on Nov 11, 2008. Male patient, 55 years of age, was diagnosed with prophylaxis and was treated with Posaconazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, convulsion, disease progression, eye pain, facial pain, fungus culture positive, gastrointestinal haemorrhage, nasal congestion, neurological decompensation. Posaconazole dosage: 400 MG;BID;. During the same period patient was treated with STEROIDS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

During the same period patient was treated with SYMBICORT, DURAGESIC, XANAX, MOXON, PERINDOPRIL ERBUMINE, LANTUS, NOVORAPID. Patient died on 09/04/2006.
