Posaconazole side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Apr 16, 2007. Female patient, 61 years of age, was diagnosed with fungal infection  and was treated with Posaconazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute myeloid leukaemia recurrent, dehydration, nausea , pyrexia. Posaconazole dosage: 400 MG; BID; PO. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 07/03/2006.

Posaconazole dosage: 400 MG;BID;PO. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 07/03/2006.

Male patient, 20 years of age, weighting 123.5 lb, was diagnosed with fungal infection  and was treated with Posaconazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, cholelithiasis, dehydration, hyperbilirubinaemia, hypoalbuminaemia, hypotension, oral intake reduced. Posaconazole dosage: 400 MG; BID; PO. During the same period patient was treated with ZENERGAN, DEPAKENE, MEGACE, FOLIC ACID, PREVACID. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
