Polyethylene side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Oct 11, 2006. Female patient, child 7 years of age, weighting 43.00 lb, was diagnosed with constipation  and was treated with Polyethylene. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal distension, abnormal behaviour, anxiety , attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, fluid intake reduced, neurological symptom, refusal of treatment by relative, speech disorder, tourette's disorder. Polyethylene dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MAGNESIUM CITRATE, ASCORBIC ACID, FIBERSURE. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 33 years of age, weighting 135.0 lb, was diagnosed with constipation  and was treated with Polyethylene. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anxiety , bowel movement irregularity, diarrhoea, dyspepsia, hypersensitivity, malaise, muscle contractions involuntary, pharyngeal oedema, pruritus. Polyethylene dosage: unknown. Patient recovered.
