Pletal Side Effects Report #6060089-3
Pletal side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Jan 13, 2009. Female patient, 73 years of age, weighting 101.4 lb, was diagnosed with venous thrombosis limb, rheumatoid arthritis  and was treated with Pletal. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: condition aggravated, fall , interstitial lung disease, venous thrombosis limb. Pletal dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with RHEUMATREX, ACTEMRA, WARFARIN POTASSIUM. Patient died on 12/14/2008.

Female patient, 73 years of age, weighting 101.4 lb, was diagnosed with venous thrombosis limb, rheumatoid arthritis  and was treated with Pletal. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood cholesterol increased, condition aggravated, contusion, fall , interstitial lung disease, pneumocystis jiroveci pneumonia, sputum culture positive, venous thrombosis. Pletal dosage: 100 MG, DAILY DOSE; 200 MG, DAILY DOSE; ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with RHEUMATREX, ACTEMRA, WARFARIN. Patient died.

Female patient, 71 years of age, was diagnosed with peripheral arterial occlusive disease and was treated with Pletal. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dyspnoea exertional, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary fibrosis , rash pruritic. Pletal dosage: 100 MG, BID ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with CLOPIDOGREL BISULPHATE, EZETIMIBE, SIMVASTATIN, FELODIPINE, CANDESARTAN CILEXETIL, CALCIUM D, ALENDRONIC ACID. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cerebral infarction, dyspnoea, gait disturbance, hypoxia, interstitial lung disease, lymphocyte stimulation test positive, respiratory failure. Pletal dosage: 100 MG, BID. During the same period patient was treated with PLAVIX, MUCOSTA, MAGLAX, OLMESARTAN MEDOXOMIL, ADALAT, CALBLOCK, ZANTAC. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cerebral infarction, disease recurrence, gait disturbance, interstitial lung disease, lymphocyte stimulation test positive, respiratory failure. Pletal dosage: 100 MG, BID, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with PLAVIX, MUCOSTA, MAGLAX, OLMETEC, ADALAT, CALBLOCK, ZANTAC, BABY ASPIRIN. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aortic aneurysm , blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, emphysema, gastric cancer, interstitial lung disease, lung neoplasm malignant, lymphoma , malignant neoplasm progression. Pletal dosage: 100 MG, BID ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with LIVALO, LIPITOR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 06/03/2008.
