Pletal side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Feb 20, 2008. Male patient, 79 years of age, weighting 146.8 lb, was diagnosed with cerebral infarction and was treated with Pletal. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: angina unstable, atrioventricular block first degree, blood glucose increased, blood urea increased, cardiac failure, cholecystitis, coronary artery stenosis, diabetes mellitus, gait disturbance. Pletal dosage: 100 MG, BID. During the same period patient was treated with ZANTAC, GRAMALIL, LASIX, FLIVAS, VOLLEY, BLADDERON, NOVOLIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, anaemia, anorexia, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood potassium decreased, blood urea increased, dehydration, pleural effusion, pneumonia klebsiella. Pletal dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PROCATEROL, CANDESARTAN CILEXETIL, BROMHEXINE HYDROCHLORIDE, ISOTONIC CHLORIDE SOLUTION, SOLITAX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 01/16/2009.
