Pletal Side Effects Report #5657886-2
Pletal side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Feb 20, 2008. Male patient, 79 years of age, weighting 146.8 lb, was diagnosed with cerebral infarction and was treated with Pletal. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: angina unstable, atrioventricular block first degree, blood glucose increased, blood urea increased, cardiac failure, cholecystitis, coronary artery stenosis, diabetes mellitus, gait disturbance. Pletal dosage: 100 MG, BID. During the same period patient was treated with ZANTAC, GRAMALIL, LASIX, FLIVAS, VOLLEY, BLADDERON, NOVOLIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, bacterial sepsis, bile duct obstruction, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood glucose increased, blood pressure decreased, cerebral infarction, dysarthria. Pletal dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PRAVASTATIN, AMARYL, MAGNESIUM OXIDE, GLUFAST, KETOPROFEN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood glucose increased, blood pressure decreased, blood pressure systolic decreased, body temperature decreased, brain oedema, diabetes mellitus inadequate control, dysarthria, gastritis, liver abscess. Pletal dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PRAVASTATIN, AMARYL, MAGNESIUM OXIDE, GLUFAST, KETOPROFEN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 12/13/2008.

Pletal dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PRAVASTATIN, AMARYL, MAGNESIUM OXIDE, GLUFAST, MOHRUS TAPE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 12/13/2008.

During the same period patient was treated with BLOPRESS, NORVASC, GASTER D, INNOLET, ROHYPNOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Pletal dosage: 100 MG, BID, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with CETAPRIL, GLIMICRON, SAIREI, AMLODIN OD, MEVALOTIN, TRICOR, KINEDAK. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood glucose increased, depressed level of consciousness, haemopneumothorax, hypocalcaemia, hypotension, hypoxic encephalopathy, liver disorder, pleural effusion, respiratory failure. Pletal dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with NITRODERM, PANALDINE, ASPIRIN, CALTAN, PEPCID, LASIX, ALLEGRA, AMOBAN. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.
