Plaquenil side effect was reported by a Health Professional from FRANCE on Sept 27, 2005. Female patient, 75 years of age, was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis What is  rheumatoid arthritis and was treated with Plaquenil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: haemolysis, thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura. Plaquenil dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with SOLIAN, ARAVA, MOPRAL, ZOLOFT, ZOPICLONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, disseminated intravascular coagulation, enterococcal infection, gastrointestinal haemorrhage, haemodialysis, haemodynamic instability, haemolysis, hepatitis b What is  hepatitis b. Plaquenil dosage: 200 MG OD, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with NEORAL, MEDROL. Patient died.
