Pitocin side effect was reported by a Health Professional from on Jan 07, 2005. Female patient, 20 years of age, weighting 155.0 lb, was diagnosed with labour induction and was treated with Pitocin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: accidental overdose, device failure, foetal heart rate decreased, uterine contractions abnormal. Pitocin dosage: 12 CC/HR FROM 1000 ML BAG WITH 10 UNITS. Patient recovered.
