After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaphylactic reaction, echocardiogram abnormal, ejection fraction decreased, electromechanical dissociation, hepatic enzyme abnormal, pleural effusion, renal function test abnormal, sinus tachycardia. Pitocin dosage: 5 UNITS SLOW IV BOLUS, INTRAVENOUS; 10 UNITS INFUSION IN NORMAL SALINE 200 ML, INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with METHYLDOPA, LABETALOL, INSULIN, LEVOTHYROXINE, BUPIVACAINE, CHLORIDE, CHLORIDE, METHYLERGOMETRINE MALEATE. Patient recovered.
