Pitocin side effect was reported by a Physician from SPAIN on May 06, 2008. Female patient, 21 years of age, was diagnosed with uterine atony, tocolysis and was treated with Pitocin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute coronary syndrome, arteriospasm coronary. Pitocin dosage: 20 IU IN 500 ML OF RINGERS LACTATE, INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with RITODRINE, BUPIVACAINE, FENTANYL, OXYGEN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
