Piroxicam side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Oct 25, 2006. Male patient, 65 years of age, weighting 212.0 lb, was diagnosed with pain , blood phosphorus, coronary artery bypass , coronary artery disease  and was treated with Piroxicam. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hypotension, melaena, nausea , syncope. Piroxicam dosage: 20 MG DAILY. During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN, CLOPIDOGREL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 51 years of age, weighting 306.4 lb, was diagnosed with foot operation, procedural pain and was treated with Piroxicam. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, dizziness , duodenal ulcer, faeces discoloured, gastrointestinal haemorrhage, syncope. Piroxicam dosage: 20MG PO DAILY. During the same period patient was treated with VICODIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
