Piroxicam side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Sept 08, 2005. Female patient, 54 years of age, weighting 104.8 lb, was diagnosed with osteoarthritis  and was treated with Piroxicam. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: chest pain , decreased appetite, diarrhoea, duodenal ulcer, duodenitis, gastric ulcer, gastritis, haematemesis, occult blood positive. Piroxicam dosage: 20 MG QD [CHRONIC]. During the same period patient was treated with POTASSIUM, QUININE, MAVIK, MISOPROSTOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: duodenal ulcer, gastric ulcer, gastritis, melaena. Piroxicam dosage: 20 MG (20 MG, 1 IN 1 D), ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with HIDROXIKL B. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Piroxicam dosage: 20 MG (20 MG, 1 IN 1 D),. During the same period patient was treated with CEFUROXIME, CEFPODOXIME PROXETIL, SALOFALK. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain upper, gastritis, gastrointestinal inflammation, helicobacter infection. Piroxicam dosage: 40 MG (20 MG, 2 IN 1 D), ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ASASANTIN RETARD, FOSAMAX, ATORVASTATIN CALCIUM, PANTOPRAZOLE, DIOVAN HCT. Patient recovered.
