Piperacillin side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Apr 26, 2007. Male patient, 82 years of age, weighting 113.3 lb, was diagnosed with pneumonia aspiration and was treated with Piperacillin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: empyema, rash erythematous, rash macular, rash pruritic. Piperacillin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VANCOMYCIN, ACETAMINOPHEN, FUROSEMIDE, HEPARIN, INSULIN NPH, INSULIN REGULAR, METOPROLOL, METRONIDAZOLE. Patient recovered.
