Piperacillin side effect was reported by a Health Professional from QATAR on Jan 22, 2008. Male patient, 20 years of age, was diagnosed with pleural effusion, pneumonia , empyema and was treated with Piperacillin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: condition aggravated, eosinophilia, pleural effusion, pulmonary eosinophilia. Piperacillin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CLOXACILLIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
