Piperacillin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Dec 29, 2005. Male patient, 55 years of age, weighting 160.0 lb, was diagnosed with urinary tract infection  and was treated with Piperacillin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: diarrhoea, mental status changes. Piperacillin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with AMPICILLIN AND SULBACTAM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
