Piperacillin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on June 28, 2007. Male patient, 83 years of age, was diagnosed with pneumonia  and was treated with Piperacillin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: clostridium difficile colitis. Piperacillin dosage: 3.375MG QID IV. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cellulitis , clostridium difficile colitis, subcutaneous abscess. Piperacillin dosage: 2.25GM/50ML Q6H IVPB. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
