Piperacillin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Oct 25, 2005. Male patient, weighting 110.6 lb, was diagnosed with pseudomonas infection and was treated with Piperacillin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aspiration, bacterial infection , blood creatinine increased, pneumonia aspiration, pseudomonas infection, rash , respiratory failure, streptococcal infection . Piperacillin dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, anastomotic complication, aspartate aminotransferase increased, bacteroides infection, blood creatinine increased, candidiasis, klebsiella infection, pathogen resistance. Piperacillin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PIPERACILLIN AND TAZOBACTAM, PIPERACILLIN AND TAZOBACTAM, PIPERACILLIN AND TAZOBACTAM, FLUCONAZOLE, LEVOFLOXACIN. Patient died.
