Male patient, 55 years of age, was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus and was treated with Pioglitazone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute myocardial infarction, coronary artery stenosis, echocardiogram abnormal. Pioglitazone dosage: 15 MG (15 MG, 1 IN 1 D) PER ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with CRESTOR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
