Pioglitazone side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from GERMANY on Sept 19, 2005. Male patient, 77 years of age, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus non-insulin-dependent and was treated with Pioglitazone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrial fibrillation What is  atrial fibrillation, bundle branch block right, cardiac failure congestive, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, fall What is  fall, feeling abnormal, multi-organ failure, pleural effusion. Pioglitazone dosage: 15 MG, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with METFORMIN, TORASEMID, ALLOPURINOL, DIGOXIN, ASPIRIN, BISOPROLOL, ISOSORBID MONONITRAT, SPIRONOLACTON. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
