Pimozide side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from on May 24, 2005. Male patient, 36 years of age, was diagnosed with tourette's disorder and was treated with Pimozide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac arrest , electrocardiogram qt prolonged, torsade de pointes. Pimozide dosage: 10 MILLIGRAM, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with CLARITHROMYCIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
