Pilocarpine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from JAPAN on Jan 30, 2008. Female patient, 60 years of age, was diagnosed with sjogren's syndrome What is  sjogren's syndrome and was treated with Pilocarpine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: malaise, oxygen saturation decreased, vertigo cns origin. Pilocarpine dosage: 5 MG;BID;PO. During the same period patient was treated with TAKEPRON, RHEUMATREX, FOLIAMIN, MEDROL, MEVALOTIN, LAXOBERON. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 72 years of age, was diagnosed with dry mouth and was treated with Pilocarpine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac fibrillation, gastric disorder, malaise. Pilocarpine dosage: 5 MG; QD; PO. During the same period patient was treated with ACTONEL, ASPIRIN. Patient recovered.
