Photofrin side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on May 12, 2006. Female patient, 73 years of age, was diagnosed with lip and/or oral cavity cancer stage 0 and was treated with Photofrin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: neoplasm malignant, oedema mouth, oral intake reduced, pain , pharyngolaryngeal pain. Photofrin dosage: 2.0 MG/KG IV. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Photofrin side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Feb 08, 2008. Male patient, 60 years of age, was diagnosed with epiglottic carcinoma and was treated with Photofrin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: lobar pneumonia, pharyngolaryngeal pain, weight decreased. Photofrin dosage: 2 MG/KG, 1 DOSE, IV. During the same period patient was treated with ZOLOFT, OMEPRAZOLE, DIVALPROEX, TAMSULOSIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 73 years of age, was diagnosed with dysplasia, lip and/or oral cavity cancer stage 0, pain , periodontal disease and was treated with Photofrin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dysplasia, lip and/or oral cavity cancer stage 0, metastatic neoplasm, oedema mouth, oral intake reduced, pain , pharyngolaryngeal pain, recurrent cancer. Photofrin dosage: 2.0 MG/KG IV. During the same period patient was treated with ACCUTANE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
