Male patient, 72 years of age, was diagnosed with oesophageal squamous cell carcinoma and was treated with Photofrin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bronchial fistula, gastrointestinal necrosis, oesophageal perforation, oesophageal stenosis. Photofrin dosage: 2 MG/KG I.V.. Patient died.
