Male patient, 60 years of age, was diagnosed with oesophageal carcinoma recurrent and was treated with Photofrin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: erosive oesophagitis, gastrointestinal necrosis, hypoxia, odynophagia, oesophageal fistula, pneumonia aspiration. Photofrin dosage: 2 MG/M2 (ONE COURSE). Patient recovered.
