Photofrin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from FRANCE on Dec 16, 2008. Male patient, 60 years of age, was diagnosed with oesophageal carcinoma recurrent and was treated with Photofrin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: erosive oesophagitis, gastrointestinal necrosis, hypoxia, odynophagia, oesophageal fistula, pneumonia aspiration. Photofrin dosage: 2 MG/M2 (ONE COURSE). Patient recovered.
