Photofrin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from CANADA on Nov 08, 2007. Male patient, 65 years of age, was diagnosed with glioma and was treated with Photofrin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: facial palsy, sensory loss. Photofrin dosage: 2MG/KG. During the same period patient was treated with INTRALIPID R. Patient died.

Photofrin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from CANADA on Nov 22, 2007. Male patient, 65 years of age, was diagnosed with glioma and was treated with Photofrin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: facial palsy, glioblastoma multiforme, malignant neoplasm progression, neoplasm recurrence, sensory loss, trigeminal nerve disorder. Photofrin dosage: 2MG/KG INTRAVENOUS 1 ADMINISTRATION. During the same period patient was treated with INTRALIPIDR. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cranial nerve injury, facial palsy, iatrogenic injury. Photofrin dosage: 2MG/KG. During the same period patient was treated with INTRALIPID R. Patient recovered.
