Photofrin side effect was reported by a Physician from on Jan 17, 2007. Female patient, 64 years of age, was diagnosed with pleural mesothelioma and was treated with Photofrin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: deep vein thrombosis , thrombocythaemia. Photofrin dosage: 2MG/KG IV. Patient recovered.
