Photofrin side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Nov 26, 2007. Male patient, 66 years of age, was diagnosed with dysplasia, pharyngeal disorder and was treated with Photofrin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: chest pain , dysphonia, flatulence, sunburn. Photofrin dosage: 152 MG, 1X, IV. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: chest pain , dysphonia, flatulence, sunburn. Photofrin dosage: 152 MG,1X,IV. During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN, BISOPROLOL, GABAPENTIN, NEXIUM, REQUIP, ASCORBIC ACID, UROXATRAL, COENZYMEC. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 81 years of age, was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma, barrett's oesophagus and was treated with Photofrin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: adenocarcinoma, chest pain , dehydration, diarrhoea, dysphagia, gastritis, gastrointestinal mucosal disorder, hiatus hernia, insomnia. Photofrin dosage: MG. During the same period patient was treated with BETAPACE, DIOVAN, NORVASC, PRANDIN, REGLAN, KLONOPIN, ASPIRIN. Patient died.
