Photofrin Side Effects Report #5020849-4
Photofrin side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on May 25, 2006. Male patient, 63 years of age, was diagnosed with peritoneal mesothelioma malignant and was treated with Photofrin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory distress syndrome, anaemia, bacterial sepsis, bradycardia, fluid overload, hepatic failure, hypotension, metabolic acidosis. Photofrin dosage: 2.5 MG/KG IV. During the same period patient was treated with LOPRESSOR, ASPIRIN. Patient died on 08/16/1997.
