Phosblock side effect was reported by a Physician from on Feb 23, 2005. Female patient, 71 years of age, was diagnosed with hyperphosphataemia and was treated with Phosblock. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , anaemia, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, condition aggravated, constipation , hepatic function abnormal, infection , renal haemorrhage. Phosblock dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with EPOETIN ALPHA, ISOSORBIDE DINITRATE, CALCIUM CARBONATE, FAMOTIDINE, SENNOSIDE, TEPRENONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 70 years of age, was diagnosed with hyperphosphataemia and was treated with Phosblock. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: activated partial thromboplastin time prolonged, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood calcium decreased, blood creatinine increased, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, blood phosphorus increased, blood pressure systolic decreased, gastritis haemorrhagic, gastrointestinal haemorrhage. Phosblock dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with WARFARIN POTASSIUM, ALLOPURINOL, PRAVASTATIN, CALCIUM POLYSTYRENE SULFONATE, SHAKUYAKU, ZOLPIDEM TARTRATE, PRECIPITATED CALCIUM CARBONATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood alkaline phosphatase increased, oral intake reduced. Phosblock dosage: 250 MG QD PO. During the same period patient was treated with PRECIPIATED CALCIUM CARBONATE, ASPIRIN, CANDESARTAN CILEXETIL, FAMOTIDINE, TICLOPIDINE HYDROCHLORIDE, AMLODIPINE BESYLATE. Patient died on 07/07/2006.

Patient died on 07/07/2006.
