Phosblock Side Effects Report #5216453-5
Phosblock side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Jan 05, 2007. Male patient, 79 years of age, was diagnosed with hyperphosphataemia and was treated with Phosblock. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute abdomen, anorexia, chest pain , chills, diarrhoea, large intestine perforation, malaise, nausea , peritonitis. Phosblock dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CALCIUM POLYSTYRENE SULFONATE, FIROXICAM, SOLFALCONE, ALFACALCIDOL, AMEZINIU METILSULPHATE, RANITIDINE HYDROCHLORIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal wall disorder, anorexia, aortic valve replacement, arteriosclerosis obliterans, coronary artery surgery, diarrhoea, diverticulitis, large intestine perforation, mitral valve replacement. Phosblock dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with EPOETIN ALFA, CALCITRIOL, ASPIRIN, MOSAPRIDE CITRATE, NICORANDIL, TEPRENONE, LANSOPRAZOLE, SENNOSIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 09/08/2005.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anorexia, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, condition aggravated, diabetes mellitus, diabetic nephropathy. Phosblock dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PRECIPIATED CALCIUM CARBONATE, ASPIRIN, CANDESARTAN CILEXETIL, FAMOTIDINE, TICLOPIDINE HYDROCHLORIDE, AMLODIPINE BESYLATE. Patient died on 07/07/2006.
