Pheyntoin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from SPAIN on Feb 15, 2008. Male patient, 32 years of age, was diagnosed with epilepsy
and was treated with Pheyntoin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood glucose abnormal, diarrhoea, gamma-glutamyltransferase increased, hypogammaglobulinaemia, immunodeficiency common variable, mucosal infection, neutropenia, pyrexia, rhinorrhoea. Pheyntoin dosage: 100 MG EVERY 8 HOURS; APPROX. 4 MONTHS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
