Phenylephrine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on May 02, 2005. Male patient, 15 years of age, weighting 135.0 lb, was diagnosed with nasal operation and was treated with Phenylephrine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure fluctuation, brain damage, carbon dioxide abnormal, cardiac arrest , procedural complication. Phenylephrine dosage: unknown. Patient died on 08/18/2003.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac arrest , cardio-respiratory arrest, pulmonary oedema. Phenylephrine dosage: 10 MILLIGRAM ONCE INTRAVENOUS (NOS). Patient recovered.
