Phenylephrine side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Sept 25, 2008. Female patient, 35 years of age, weighting 134.5 lb, was diagnosed with hypotension and was treated with Phenylephrine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure increased, haemorrhagic stroke, headache . Phenylephrine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with EPHEDRINE, HEPARIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Phenylephrine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Feb 15, 2008. Male patient, 65 years of age, was diagnosed with coronary arterial stent insertion, hypertension, coronary artery disease  and was treated with Phenylephrine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: accidental overdose, aphasia , asthenia, blood pressure decreased, blood pressure increased, chest pain , feeling hot, hyperhidrosis. Phenylephrine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with NORVASC, PLAVIX, ASPIRIN. Patient recovered.
