Phenobarbital side effect was reported by a Health Professional from NETHERLANDS on Jan 04, 2006. Male patient, 38 years of age, was diagnosed with epilepsy  and was treated with Phenobarbital. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: back pain , convulsion, osteolysis, osteoporosis , thoracic vertebral fracture, traumatic fracture. Phenobarbital dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PHENYTOIN ORAL USP, CARBAMAZEPINE, VALPROIC ACID. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: back pain , grand mal convulsion, hydroxyproline increased, osteopenia, osteoporosis , traumatic fracture, urine calcium increased. Phenobarbital dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PHENYTOIN, CARBAMAZEPINE, VALPROIC ACID. Patient recovered.
