Phenobarbital side effect was reported by a Physician from ITALY on Nov 12, 2007. Female patient, 84 years of age, was diagnosed with grand mal convulsion and was treated with Phenobarbital. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, anaemia, aphasia What is  aphasia, aspartate aminotransferase increased, effusion, eosinophilia, face oedema, hemiparesis. Phenobarbital dosage: 100 MG; QD; PO. During the same period patient was treated with NIMODIPINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, dysuria, gamma-glutamyltransferase increased, protein total decreased, toxic epidermal necrolysis. Phenobarbital dosage: 100 MG;QD; PO. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
