Phenazopyridine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Mar 30, 2007. Male patient, 81 years of age, weighting 134.0 lb, was diagnosed with dysuria, urinary tract infection What is  urinary tract infection and was treated with Phenazopyridine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: lethargy, mental status changes, methaemoglobinaemia, overdose, renal failure acute, renal tubular necrosis, yellow skin. Phenazopyridine dosage: 200 MG TID PRN PO. During the same period patient was treated with ALENDRONATE, MOMETASONE FUROATE, FELODIPINE, COMBIVENT, ASPIRIN, CALCIUM, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
