Phenazopyridine Side Effects Report #5284469-9
Phenazopyridine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Mar 30, 2007. Male patient, 81 years of age, weighting 134.0 lb, was diagnosed with dysuria, urinary tract infection  and was treated with Phenazopyridine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: lethargy, mental status changes, methaemoglobinaemia, overdose, renal failure acute, renal tubular necrosis, yellow skin. Phenazopyridine dosage: 200 MG TID PRN PO. During the same period patient was treated with ALENDRONATE, MOMETASONE FUROATE, FELODIPINE, COMBIVENT, ASPIRIN, CALCIUM, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 67 years of age, weighting 132.0 lb, was diagnosed with dysuria and was treated with Phenazopyridine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, haemolytic anaemia, hypotension, lethargy, oxygen saturation decreased. Phenazopyridine dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
