Phenazopyridine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Apr 16, 2007. Male patient, 70 years of age, weighting 144.0 lb, was diagnosed with dysuria, pain  and was treated with Phenazopyridine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dyspnoea. Phenazopyridine dosage: 200MG EVERY 8 HOURS PO. During the same period patient was treated with VICODIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Phenazopyridine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Feb 26, 2009. Female patient, 20 years of age, was diagnosed with cystitis interstitial and was treated with Phenazopyridine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cyanosis, dyspnoea, methaemoglobinaemia, sulphaemoglobinaemia, swollen tongue. Phenazopyridine dosage: 100MG TID PO. During the same period patient was treated with SEASONIQUE, LEXAPRO, OXYCODONE AND ACETAMINOPHEN, ELMIRON, ELAVIL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
