Phenazopyridine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Mar 17, 2006. Female patient, 84 years of age, was diagnosed with urinary tract infection  and was treated with Phenazopyridine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: accidental exposure, bacteriuria, sulphaemoglobinaemia. Phenazopyridine dosage: 100 MG QID ORAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
