Permax Side Effects Report #5248586-1
Permax side effect was reported by a Health Professional from JAPAN on Feb 09, 2007. Female patient, 76 years of age, was diagnosed with parkinson's disease  and was treated with Permax. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: activities of daily living impaired, biliary tract infection, cholangitis, cholecystitis, gait disturbance, hepatic function abnormal, oral intake reduced, pneumonia , pyelonephritis. Permax dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with SYMMETREL, MADOPAR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: coma, hypercapnia, platelet count decreased, pneumonia , sputum retention, status epilepticus. Permax dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with SYMMETREL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 89 years of age, was diagnosed with cerebrovascular disorder, condition aggravated, parkinsonism and was treated with Permax. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: body temperature increased, coma, depressed level of consciousness, hypercapnia, platelet count decreased, pneumonia , sputum retention, status epilepticus. Permax dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with SYMMETREL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Permax side effect was reported by a Physician from on Apr 07, 2005. Male patient, 65 years of age, was treated with Permax. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardio-respiratory arrest, disease progression, dysphagia, oral intake reduced, pneumonia , pneumonia aspiration, progressive supranuclear palsy , weight decreased. Permax dosage: 1500 MG DAY. During the same period patient was treated with LEVODOPA BENSERAZIDE HYDROCHLORIDE, BROMOCRIPTINE, AMANTADINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 02/11/2001.
